In March 2017, Axiom Staffing Group was selected as the exclusive staffing provider to help launch a 900,000 sq. ft. distribution facility located in McDonough, GA.
Our team was involved in creating job descriptions and establishing performance metrics for various roles including, forklift and pallet jack operators, shipping and receiving associates, and production associates.
Axiom began staffing the facility in April 2017 and initially placed 20 production associates along with several team leads and a supervisor. This initial ramping-up period occurred over a four-to-five-week time span.
We placed 30 additional associates beginning in mid-to-late May 2017, bringing the total employee headcount to roughly 55.
By October 2017, Axiom had established a contingent workforce of 90 associates. It was critical for us to have this number of associates by for our client to be well-equipped for their busy season.
Our total associate headcount eventually reached 150.
